Raising a child to love and serve others, to love and serve his country is parenting on a whole other level. In search of hope and help as a mother, Lyette Reback sought out mothers of fallen soldiers to glean strength, wisdom, and purpose in her parenting.
Our very first event was a dinner to serve the women you see in these photos…women who had each lost a son serving in our nation’s military. The smiles on their faces says it all. Our dinner where civilian moms of young children served Gold Star Mothers brought them hope that their sacrifices were not forgotten, joy that we would honor their loss in how we raised our children, and peace that America cared about the lives of the boys they raised. It has since become a yearly tradition and it is hard to tell who comes away more blessed — the mothers of fallen heroes or the mothers trying to raise the next generation of servant hearted Americans.
Would you like to serve America’s Gold Star Mothers? Join us for an evening you won’t forget! We need help in so many areas for this event, we welcome you to join us in bringing hope, help and SMILES to the faces of these women who have given us so much!
