The Gold Star Christmas Project
Americans all across the nation partner with us to give thousands of Gold Star children Christmas gifts out of love and gratitude for their parent's sacrifice. Join us in helping each child of a fallen military service member receive gifts from a #GratefulNation!

They now spend every day and every holiday without their service member...
because their family was willing to make that sacrifice for our freedoms.
Through the Gold Star Christmas Project, we deliver joy to thousands with Santa sacks full of gifts to families of fallen heroes, easing their holiday season and offering ongoing support. Your donation funds these efforts, recognizing those killed in action, killed in training, active-duty accident, service-connected illness, and PTSD Suicide. Join us in making a lasting impact on Gold Star children and honoring their heroes’ sacrifices.

10 Years + of Participation in the Gold Star Christmas Project
A decade of impacting America's Gold Star Families.
“For nearly a decade now, my daughter and I have consistently been served and loved by the entire team at Believe With Me. We learned about this organization after we lost our hero, SFC Jonathan Dozier, in Iraq. I’ll never forget the very first package my daughter received from Believe With Me at Christmas time when she was eight. Carefully and excitedly, she untied a red silk bow from a burlap sack to find a small American Flag and a Christmas note of hope from a team of volunteers we’d soon get to know. I last spoke with Jon on Christmas day just weeks before he was killed. He had recently shared a photo of his unit eating a Christmas meal together before heading out on what would sadly be their final mission. Christmas has always been bittersweet because of this, and I’ve always tried to use this season to teach my daughter about the gifts of gratitude. Receiving Christmas gifts from Believe With Me was - and is - a reminder that Jon’s memory is never forgotten.”

How the Gold Star Christmas Project works

1
Gold Star Family Registers
We service all manner of military death: Killed In Action, Killed In Training, Active Duty Accident, Service Connected Illness, and PTSD Suicide. Applying takes only a few minutes.

2
Christmas Lists
September 1st, our team makes the list, checks it twice…and then starts shopping!

3
Santa’s Workshop
Wrapping occurs throughout the fall as we get ready to ship in time for Christmas day!

4
Gifts Are Shipped
Thanks to partners like FedEx, gifts are shipped to almost every state in the country, 49 states to be exact, as well as to several countries to families still living or stationed overseas! Gifts are sent off with a full police escort!

5
Hope and Joy on Christmas Morning
Boxes are carefully opened. Our Santa Sacks are lovingly removed. The red ribbon is excitedly untied. And the love is felt from grateful Americans.

Our giving is personal

Volunteers know their family
Every Believe With Me Gold Star Christmas package comes with a photo of the volunteers who wrapped the gifts! Our volunteers read the story of each family before they package their gifts. The memory of our service members are not forgotten.

Our gifts are specifically requested and even personalized
Our team goes through great lengths to personalize the gifts including detail to the Gold Star child's favorite color, favorite team, or sport. It’s just one more way we show our love and gratitude.

We give based on honor
Our giving Christmas gifts to Gold Star Families is not based on THEIR need, it is based on ours. We need to remember, love, and honor these families’ sacrifices during the holidays…and all year round.
